In Hueco Mundo still, Roku and Ragnaroc are talking and Roku has a feeling Aizen might be up to something. Goro walks in and it seems Grimmjow and Hells had a history. Ragnaroc tells him not to get in his personal life and they leave. Out of the shadows comes out the mysterious figure and wonders what Roku is thinking about. Urahara, Shinji, and Ichigo are seen training. Ichigo seems to have learned a combo. Shinji distracts him and Ichigo loses focus and gets hit. Hitsugaya arrives and talks with Urahara. Suddenly, a huge wave of Rietsu hits them and it seems to be coming from Ichigo. Ichigo seems to be fighting himself, the mask starts to come out. Though this time, it comes out with a different design and a horn coming out of it. Urahara and the others come to his aid. He stops and Urahara complements on how well he has controlled it. Ichigo is silent and the hollow starts to speak. Shinji starts to explain to Hitsugaya that Ichigo need to win in the inside so they don't have to kill him on the outside. Hitsugaya steps up and releases his Zanpakutou. In the Captain-Commander's office, Shunsui, Ukitake and Mayuri discuss on how they took hostage Grimmjow. Yamamato gets upset but does nothing. Ukitake starts to ask him why, he simply replies that he is not going to help the enemy. Ukitake begins to argue then he starts to cough up blood and falls to the ground. Shunsui goes to his aid and he tells Mayuri to contact the 4th squad barracks. He leaves, and Yamamato stands there worrying.
