I have stopped reading the manga after the fullbringer arc....so my question is that I heard that grimmjow was returning did he come back?

Ah yes he does make an appearance and to be honest you should start reading Bleach again, it's really good at the moment far better than the Fullbring arc.

As of right now. It was a teaser at the end of one of the chapters. We don't know his full role yet. Even if we did, I wouldn't want to spoil it for you as this last arc has been pretty darn good imo.

Well in fairness the arc isn't that far in yet but I'm certain Grimmjow will have quite a big part later too play.

The new arc is about explaining these things

- ichigo's heritage in full. Mother and father
- the royal guard
- the Quincy's history and first villain of this arc.
- a little inclination about Aizen returning.
- hueco Mundo what's left.
- Yama's bankai among others will be shown.
- explainings of kenpachi's
-the explaining of kiddo and hado who may have developed them.
- yoruichi and the noble family's aka the one we have yet to hear about
