I don't know about others but i actually think its the only way to save ichigo and help him get back his sword.Finally kubo used the full bringers.
Just need aizen,shinji,isshin's bankai now.

People are really picky. I mean, this IS a shonen manga, so obviously the protagonist gets all hopeless, just for some deus-ex-machina-last second power up giving him back his resolve, resulting in the defeat of the villain. We are not talking about high literature here...

Pernida fight was lengthy but Kenpachi certainly stole too much of the spotlight. We've already seen him fight plenty of times but Ukitake, Shinji, and Hisagi didn't get a good battle. That really blows. Not saying everyone should have been matched 1 to 1 but there were plenty to go around. Kubo had 24 sternritters right at his disposal.

Mayuri fought someone else too didn't he? I know he dealt with the cross dresser

Ichigo didn't didn't really get a chance to showcase how strong he was either. We know he's essentially #2 after ywach, but it sucks that the main characters only fight before the final battle was him literally getting negg'd

I forgot that he fought against Zombie Toshiro and quickly took care of Giselle. Also agree about Ichigo.

Oh wait, Yukio has one of those. And he is about 5 meters away at the moment. Also Ichigo knows the trick to get Mugestu now, so he can just cheese it in 5 seconds.

I bet 5000 Yen (Which is what, 10 cents?) that Ichigo conveniently forgets all this, and all the curbstomping that happened for the last few chapters, and rushes in without a plan, and without waiting the obligatory 12 hours before Yhwach's powers shuts off.

On thinking about it, it's somewhat unclear as to what Yhwach did to Ichigo, but even then, Orihime and Tsukishima should be able to solve the problem and restore his powers. Just make a past where Ichigo didn't fight Yhwach and get thoroughly wrecked, then reject the real past. Then Ichigo is back at full power, ready to fight Yhwach and get thoroughly wrecked again.
