That's pretty much the same for every manga though. Only difference is maybe a few people die. The former cc died for example, he isn't coming back. I think you all just expect to much.

It may be predictable but almost every manga gets that way before the end, why not just enjoy what you can.

As far as this chapter. It was bad to me simply cause of byakuya (Kenpachi Solos him) I dont like how he lived.
Also not to mention NOBODY is dying.

Another thing is im so tired of these captains get -dif then coming back like nothing happen. This is shinji 3rd time? SMFH

But to put this sternritter powers into play. I think they had to make him more big and powerful cause if u think of it
somebody who gets more powerful and faster the more they get damage and is at the same size as each other. That would be MAJORLY HAX so i see this as kubo way of making him a bigger target as a weakness. Ppl complain about his power but its HAX af. He cant die unless u behead him or something.

But Kenpachi could solo him with no dif. U_U

ill give it a 4/5 simply cause I know a bankai from shinji is coming up

Sure, Valkyrie's power is "underwhelming" to some, but the essence of it is that he takes damage and converts it to strength and size... which is really powerful as some others have said. It's a "miracle" in terms of healing and powering up.

This fits the SS's theme well: Lille was God's (Yhwach's) Messenger, and Valkyrie is God's "Miracle", one who was blessed with this ability and is the "enforcer" of God's will; a literal "physical embodiment" of it.

The way I see it, there have to be a couple of "unconventional" ways to stop Valkyrie, since it seems like Brute Force will do nothing (which, unlike some have said, makes Kenpachi the WORST matchup for Valkyrie, since Kenpachi is power personified... Valkyrie will just take his wounds and make himself larger and stronger):

- The Captains figure a way to stop the Miracle power from occurring (This may fit Shinji's Bankai: Remember how his Shikai inverted senses? WHAT IF HIS BANKAI INVERTS ABILITIES? *hint hint*)

- They completely obliterate his being (from what we saw, Byakuya did not completely vaporize Valkyrie, leaving his lower half. Does the "Miracle" perhaps depend on having a small part of your body to be able to regenerate?)

- Bankai: Plot. Self-explanatory.

Can't say that I'm not disappointed with this week's chapter. I was hoping for something a little bit more convoluted than just a simple carbon copy of one of Yammy's basic abilities. Kubo did open a lot of doors for himself as to where he would go with this ability. With last week's chapter, it left us speculating as it could've been anything at that point. Then I suppose, with an epithet having the ability to create miracles, I almost feel as if Kubo had been constrained to turn down a notch of what could've been multifarious and almost too hard to overcome by the characters themselves, deciding to go down the route of making things easier to comprehend and to follow for the audience as well. Although, it's way too early to conclude that Kubo had already proven us wrong. I'm sure there's more to this ability than what meets the eye.

As we all know, Bleach has a specific set of patterns with battles that becomes even more apparent as you read it in a weekly basis. To recap from last week's chapter, Gerard was losing. His loss is then preceded with a power up of his own, resulting in the opposing side losing this time. It's an unavoidable cycle for most cases and situations on a writer's part. I'm expecting next week to be in favor for the Shinigamis.

What I did enjoy about this chapter was that it was refreshing and new to the eye that here, we have a five man team against one who's holding down his own ground "miraculously" right now. I'm hoping for Kubo to pull off some crazy Street Fighter combo like he did back at the FKT arc only for Gerard to pull off an Aizen dįck move himself, owning everyone again by surprising them with a second form.
