Shunsui is a pimp. This is why I love bleach. It's perfect for his sword to be a girl that he only sees every now and then. It fits his character completely. I am getting tired of these back and forth fights though. I honestly thought that one was over

He's not going to die. Two Captain Commanders won't be killed off in the same arc, there's literally no one capable of doing the job besides Shunsui.

This is typical Tite Kubo. Good guy thinks he's killed Bad guy, Bad guy thinks he's killed Good guy, and it goes back and forth with different twists and the Good guy always emerges victorious. Also I don't think Shunsui Bankai is over, he said this will be the last stage, as in what's needed to kill Barro, not the actual last stage of the Bankai because the same people who accurately leaked the spoilers for 648 and 649 said his Bankai has 5 levels so there might be one more.

very very well written chapter....I honestly thought shinsui won the match but boom at the end the match still continues......
shinsui's conversation with that spirit is good.
The pages where she hugs him form back gave me chills..........
can't wait for the next chapter...........

I do like the development between his sword. It also shows that the fillers are not always filler
anybody noticed that when his zank was showed in the anime it was in the filler.. But that filler woman is now foreal

The zanpakuto spirits in that filler arc were designed by kubo
