Did you actually read the chapter? How did Hisagi get Soloed? He just got shot on his shoulder, which was already injured. You really can't please people these days smh

Well Kubo is notorious for characters getting solo'd off panel, and incomplete fights. Hisagi is probably going to get the same treatment.

Really hoping we get to see some sort of sick collab between Mayuri and Kenpachi.. That would be a first I think no?

Good old Brains n Brawn combo, hopefully this enemy provides some decent challenge!

The last time Kenpachi "teamed up" with another captain, he was more busy bickering with Byakuya rather than fighting the opponent. In fact the latter was considered a disturbance in the fight amongst themselves and consequently obliterated Yami.

Neither Kenpachi nor Mayuri are the types to willingly collaborate with another. I'm more inclined to believe that Mayuri will just let Kenpachi do his thing considering he can't hold him back either way and try to collect information. If Kenpachi loses or takes too much time, Mayuri will just swoop after having analyzed his data to find a weakness in the opponent's abilities.

That Sternriritter doesn't fire ammo, everything gets pierced it aims at and everything in between. Considering he shot diagonally from above, he shot right through Hisagi's shoulder and chest leaving hole in his left side. You can see that clearly in the first panel where Hisagi is shot as you can see blood splatter in all directions on his left side and you can also see it in the panel under it where a pool of blood spreading under him. This was by no means a small injury on his shoulder for so far he still even has a shoulder.

At this point you almost start thinking Kubo has something against Hisagi as for someone he once presented as being a 'genius', he seems to let him taste defeat easily a lot.

I think its weird how everybody is saying that about Hisagi. Hisagi bankai has been somewhat of a hype. Not using his full power. It was noted several times. And the fact that he has been getting his ass whooped so many times without using it makes me believe his bannkai is on some grip reaper type shit. I honestly think kubo is doing a good job cause.. (Just a gut feeling) Hisagi is gonna come back powerful af with his bankai

He was senior in the academy, that's why he was in charge of the group. And I think he had already achieved bankai, kubo made a special page in the manga showing his bankai.

Hisagi was never shown using a bankai.. -_-

There WAS a special page at the end of the manga of one of the volume, I don't remember it well. That page wasn't linked to the story, it was either a just for fanbase or he literally meant his bankai for later as story progress.

He got his ass whooped several times, among others by Masque du Masquline who consequently killed two captains and amongst them Kensei, his own. After that he got likewise done in by that creepy Pepe and now he got a hole the size of a baseball and the length of a baseball bat in his body and this is post-time skip =/

Coming back now with his bankai doesn't even matter anymore as it will not change the fact that he got whooped nearly the entire time because for some reason he didn't want to use bankai.

I hope you're not confusing it with the fan art the scanlators always add when they upload a chapter? As I can't find a trace of this and it would also be highly unusual for Kubo to reveal a bankai of someone even before it appears in the series itself.
