It's been a long time since Kubo hasn't been giving any shit whatsoeverer so I don't overthink Bleach. For Bleach standards and logic this was a quite good chapter. Only thing I disliked was how the Royal Guards were killed off panel.

Ichigo and the group have finally arrived, so things are going to get really interesting from here on out.

Probably Soul king is in a dormant state like Yhwach was for 1000 years.

Or Dead and crystal is keeping him alive to maintain status quo.
