It's been a long time since a Shinigami kicked ass with pure swordplay. Weren't sword fights the best part of Bleach long ago?

Of course it still has that but just not as epic in the manga they extend a lot of fights in the anime to showcase more swordplay and epic one liners.

There's still those main battles in the manga which are like ten chapters long but I believe now kubo is focusing on short and sweet while the anime will likely expand on them a bit more.
