I do not think he would die so easily like that Kira might just be knocked out as for Kenpachi he is about to kick ass

1 star chapter without Kenpachi. With him In I voted 4* he made it epic and his entrance was awesome 
I can't wait for him to start smashing skulls!!
And I don't think Byakuya is dead, such a cult character Kubo wouldn't kill him off in such a meaningless way. If Byakuya dies it will be at the end of a long, long, long stretch of chapters (We all know how Kubo likes to drag things on -_-) and it will be against someone a lot stronger and more important. He might be out of action but I wouldn't say he is dead.
But Kenpachi!!!!!!!!! he was just so coooool why didn't we get to see the fight against those two guys D:

Awesome chapter..But byakuya dead!!nooooooooo!!!!Kenpachi is a beast and his style is perfect for these quincies since he doesnt have a bankai

am I the only one that thinks kenpachi shouldnt fight with the boss or else he would die soon...there is a reason he is the leader
To me this was the worst chapter ever , besides seeing Kampachi. Why is Kubo not revealing the shinigami or whoever that has Urahara looking scared/surprised. He is wasting a lot of time. I predict that that person is Unohana.

I'm not certain weather Byakuya is dead since it wouldn't really stand for anything other than proving how strong the sternritters are, I'm certain Kubo would make Byakuya's death scene more noble since he's been in it for quite a while and would of showed some flashbacks not just wow I'm dead, Na maybe Yourichi or Isshin might help him even Ginrei.
Rukia's opponent looked sneaky I'm not certain if she was battling him before or weather he just showed up out of nowhere but I hope she isn't dead.
Now with people saying Kenpachi being the strongest captain I can only sigh in annoyance, granted he took out two sternritters but we don't know them for all we know they where purely there to be cannon fodder, I mean stealing someone else's Zanpaktou's ability is lethal and Kenpachi doesn't have to worry about that all though I do hope he puts up a good fight against Buckbeard.
Now what's happening with Ichigo I want that prison to be gone already soul society needs him.
Also I want to see Isshin and Buckbeard converse I want to know if they know one another I bet they do I bet they have some real history.

Byakuya IS dead. Even if this is Bleach, there is no way in hell he can survive, just look at the state of his body. If Orihime was next to him right after that i would consider possibility of his survival, but she's in Hueco Mundo without means of getting to SS, and Unohana can't heal everything (for those who would claim that Hyiori survived getting bisected - Unohana got there in no time and Hyiori was kept alive by Hachi).
What do you mean his death was meaningless? His pride was trampled, his bankai was stolen, his mind was broken and his entire being was filled with fear. His death is good for plot, after 10 years there is nothing that could have expanded his person.
And Kenpachi is holding 3 bodies...but he's going down too (not completely but Buckbeard and blonde Nazi is too much for anybody)

I see a lot of people arguing that it wasn't in Byakuya's character to rush in like that and get killed so easily. I'd argue the other way. This Byakuya is different than the one we met at the start of the Soul Society arc now. He's been changed, cares about Rukia, Renji, Ichigo and his comrades. He rushed in and sacrificed himself so that Renji wouldn't need to. I think his death helps illustrate the change in his character that has been made over the last several hundred chapters.

really sad that Byakuya died........ It's not like Kubo to just kill off a character especially someone like Byakuya... I think Kubo will do something with that later

I hope people realize that Orihime can just bring him back IF he is dead I still do not believe he is dead in my opinion this is bleach so anything can happen I am not sure if people realize its not three bodies he is carrying its only two of them

ah man, byakuya isnt looking so good :T_T: , getting pummeled 10 feet deep into a wall with senbonzakura is not something many people would be able to walk away from, he may be finished, but as others have said it wouldnt serve any purpose plot wise ,especially to kill off someone so well developed, so im inclined to think there may be some unohana intervention or something along those lines
and kenpachi showing up with all his OP'ness was pretty legit, its been a little while since weve seen him in an enjoyable fight [ ken/byakuya vs yammy was pretty mehh] so i cant wait to see how much hes improved in 17 months, he may possibly have a stronger eye patch to mask how much his power may have grown, id think that would be likely

I agree with the person above that said Byakuya's death had purpose. And also, unfortunately, Kenpachi is going down too..it will be epic though..he'll get saved by Naru..I meant Ichigo though.
