not really..><...Kenpachi doesnt have bankai so he he is fighting at 100% whereas Bykuya's power just got halved...
1.) Byakuya doesn't only have Bankai he still had his shikai, still had all of his Kido and still had his shunpo. So he could have done something other than sit their like a fricken dumbass with a shitsickle stuck up his ass lol
2.) Despite the fact of Kenpachi not having Bankai he was still only fighting with a Shikai, Renji fought with a shikai, was gonna go Bankai but got drop kicked half way across Soul Society

1.Yes I agree that Byakuya has shikai but as stated by the sternreitter that the shikai is no match for the bankai though i still cant understand how byakuya was defeated so easily since he should know the weakness of his bankai and know how to counter it..><

So I was completely like...shell-shocked after I finished reading the chapter. The first thing I did was text my friend about Byakuya's 'supposed' death....She FLIPPED out...But so did I! Like seriously, he isn't really dead is he???? Because his Zampakuto shattered.......... O.O
And on another Note, Kenpachi is about to kick some serious a**!!!

Hmmm.... Somehow I doubt Byakuya's dead.. I'd say he's going to be in a coma or something.. And we still don't know about Ichigo, Urahara.. And what about Jidanbo and Akon? I would say that the next chapter will also focus on SS, maybe even the one after that, and then right at the end of one of the next chapters, it'll snap back to Urahara, and like in the last frame we'll find out who it was
1) Lol you realize Byakuya's Bankai is stronger than his Shikai so using his Shikai against his Bankai would be useless, also it's been shown that the Sternritters are just as fast as the captains, also the Sternritter Byakuya was versing had an ability to use someones fear against them stopping them from moving so all Byakuya could do was stand there it's Renji who acted too late.
2) Kenpachi doesn't have a Shikai that we know of he doesn't even know the name of his Zanpaktou so he beat them without the help of his Zanpaktou's power another note is those Quincies might not of even been that strong since we don't know them we weren't even shown them until now, I wouldn't say Renji fought he got his wooped and the fact Kubo stopped him from using his Bankai means it's got stronger and has changed a little and not letting him use Bankai was an error on the Quincies side.
