woah O_O byakuya might actually be dead, and it looks like that rumor about kenpachi being one OP son of a bitch might be true, i mean he defeated 2 SR that easily with out any sign of injury and with out removing his eyepatch, and by the looks of it was able to frighten, the most senior (judging by the fact that he is always near buckbeard) of the SR.

Noooo, Byakuya. My favourite captain died. There must be some catch considering this is Bleach. I mean two lieutenants and a captain have already died, Kubo is either just going really hard or or at least one of them (hopefully Byakuya) alive in some way. Kenpachi is a boss though, it makes sense that he would be the secret weapon against the sternritters since he is so powerful without a bankai.

I still don't believe Byakuya is dead. Neither is Kira. Call me stubborn but whatever. There is still a chance that Orihime can reject whats happened to them granted they can somehow fend the Sternritters out of Soul Society.

When you kill off a major character you make it stand for something. Byakuya's "death" in this chapter was meaningless.
