First thing 1st is that the 4 captains were not 2geda as most ppl think,n that the battle now begins,and they r not weak like the espada,da.............,n what can they will ring ichigo,just to find out that he is not availible for the moment,so you guys fight yourselves,and if u loss,he will come help u guys,and finally acc to shuishi,they r in a big shit

WOW, they are getting f*cked, the only person who I think can handle some of these guys without Bankai is Yamamoto but without it he would probably lose to the Quincy leader.

From the last chapter, obviously and as usual Ichigo holds some significance. If I remember correctly, the only reason they went into the Soul society was because Ichigo would be busy in Hueco Mundo. I think the research squad has already figured out what that is.
