I seriously think this is going to end up just like the Espada fights and then they face the leader and they all go down but reinforcements arrive ( aka the hollows and past Espada with ichigo) and all of them go down and instead zero squad arrives kicks some ass then the king quince pulls surprise power on them and ichigo is the last one standing and the final fight issues blah blah and ichigo wins end o_0

Great chapter but i dont want kira to die

I know last week I said the SS was ****ed but even then I didn't truly take in the gravity of the situation our beloved characters are in. I don't know where to even begin to rant about this chapter. It's a hard transition to go from reading a manga where you don't ever expect good guy characters to die to one where you expect one of them to die every new chapter.
What's the deal with the enemy doppelgangers on page 16 and 17? The one on page 17 to the left looks like Unohana's evil twin sister. The girl in the middle reminds me of Loly or Riruka, the guy on the right looks familiar but I can't place where I might have seen him before or why he looks familiar. Then there's the guy in the middle of page 16, he looks like Yammy, and the guy to the right of him looks like Ikkaku. Last but not least there's the guy who was telling the Shinigami to shiver in fear, he looks like Kisuke. I'm not sure if there's any significant to the look a likes but I think we can predict the match ups based off looks.

Rukia vs. the girl with the heart belt buckle
Ikkaku vs. his mohawked doppelganger
Byakuya or Kenpachi vs. Yammy look-a-like
The rest we'll just see I don't feel like guessing and being wrong right now.
Right now I am just terrified that Toshiro is going to get killed horribly, he's my favorite character and all but he's not that strong and his attacks just don't get the kill. He and Rangiku will get annihilated.

Too be honest I was in aww over this chapter it was actually very good......I don't care if Kira dies or lives he was too much of a cry baby for a while there. Though I don't believe he is completely dead. His reiatsu maybe covered by the mass amount of reiatsu coming off of those damned quincies but I do have a new found respect for the Quincy I mean shit man

agree with Totsuka, there is good posibility that Kira is 1 of the weaker lieutenants, and we could expect some lieutenants to die, but come on, Kubo should have let him put up at least SOME fight, not kill him just like this

nope..Kira isnt dead...before the arc started kubo had confirmed that kira will be seen using his bankai and no hes not weak..hes one of he stronger lieutenants

Now that is NOT true.
In the interview there was a question as if he'll give other lieutenants bankai.
He just said that Kira's bankai would be very disgusting. He didn't say will be.
