After this week chapter (which was very good) I'm confused...Why does the man that got his arm cut off look like someone from Kuchiki's clan, why does the King look like Zangetsu and why I have the feeling that they aren't really Quincy...Was Hyiori in previous chapters talking about Ivan when she said "I smell Shinigami" and if yes, why would she said so (given Ivan is Quincy) ..... *brain explodes*

I think these guys can take others abilities. Eg. Take quincy powers and shinigami powers and hollow. Explains why Ivan has a hollow mask, quincy bow and now he wanted to take ichigos shinigami powers

well not bankai exactly but he can seal zanpakutou power but only for genryuusai zanpakutou, maybe these new random guys can do better than wonderweise:shrug:

Too Much drama unless some info comes on Wiki I am Mind-Fucked.
The Characters have started to look similar and One cannot assume anything.
I thought that looked Like Aizen, or Maybe I wanted to see him as Aizen. I am not sure.
Empire King , Is he Soul Society King ? I don't think so. He can be, But Still too much vagueness.
One thing more that came to my Mind, that given Ichigo his powers back made the Zero Division think of 12 court guards as Defaulters ? Maybe that's who they are ?

That's an interesting point.
They have the ability to make your Bankai vanish but failed to do so against Ichigo. Kubo needs to make his chapters longer or at least insert some sort of conversation

Who the f*ck are these guys?! I seriously don't get it!!! I never saw any of them before in this manga... Oh dear... All I got from this was a couple o' guys I've never seen before showing up and declaring war as if it was nothing... Is Kubo on crack?! :s

Each shinigami has their own particular zanpakuto and each zanpakuto has a different ability. The same could be said for these new characters. Ivan's special ability could be one that does away with Bankai. Which is probably why he was sent to confront Ichigo; to get him out of the way. He's too much of a threat, but they don't realize the extent of his abilities or the level of reiatsu he truly posseses.
I find it a bit odd how their leader (who looks like old man Zangetsu) asks for their reports for the sake of "peace". Are they another group who considers the SS and the G13 the true enemies of peace?
Ivan also called them "the Chosen Ones", but who chose them and for what purpose were they chosen? Was it a prophecy that created this secret society? An edict by the Soul King? Rebels protesting the rule of the Soul King? Who knows?
