Finally about to see the new ban kai. I think Ginjo is basically telling the truth but it's likely he threw something in there for his advantage. If they were truly afraid of Ichigo then why would they give him his power back? They wouldn't so there's more to it than he's saying.

It's more of a trust issue, clearly at first they werent sure of ichigo's abilities and motives. Ichigo will defeat ginjo by ignoring what he has to say and finding out the truth for himself.

OT: Epic chapter. I believe Ginjou, however we don't know how long Ginjou has been around, therefore Ukitate and the Soul Society could have abandoned that purpose of monitoring ages ago. I mean even Genryuusai stated that Ichigo has saved Soul Society countless times not to mention changed people such as Byakuya. I don't think they want to control him.

And ofcourse the most epic moment: Ichigo getting freaking serious using his Bankai that also answered all the questions like: "Does Ichigo have Bankai in his Fullbring form or not?" "Where the hell is Ichigo with his badass Bankai?" etc...

Cant wait till next chap to see on what side Ichigo really is now and ofcourse to see his bankai

I seriously do not understand why everyone is so freaked out. To Bleach standards this is an OK chapter, but overall nothing special. Ichigo's badge monitors him...so what? Now where is the part that's supposed to make this chapter so 'badass' as I really can't find it. Where is it? I mean that SS was monitoring Ichigo was practically already a given and has been implied on more than one occasion. It wouldn't even make sense that they wouldn't keep tabs on him. Ichigo is of captain class, he invaded SS all the way to its center and beat several VC and captains along the way. There is no way in hell they would leave him go just like that =/ no matter how buddy-buddy they became, no matter how much a debt they would have towards Ichigo, just because he's a potential threat they will keep tabs on him and in the worst case they would kill him. That's nothing more than common sense.

That attitude of SS has been shown throughout the story. So seriously that apparently his "privacy" has been defiled is really not big of a deal as that was fairly obvious. If Ichigo would actually be bothered by it to the point he's getting "trust issues", then it means Kubo finally has succumbed to his crack as then he doesn't even understand his own story anymore as Ichigo should be very well aware of how SS works. He might or should be a bit pissed that they did that without him knowing it, but outside that it's really something extremely minor.

That Ukitake was behind did isn't a big deal either as probably most of the higher ups of SS know this =/ If Ukitake suddenly becomes a 2nd Aizen or something that's something different, but I highely doubt that's the case.

i agree with Cali on this one, yeah, it was awesome chapter if we consider only this stupid arc, BUT, before that, chapter were just AWESOME and this is just normal one from those times, but i have to say that just because it was Ukitake´s idea, it doesn´t mean he´s a bad guy, on top of that all, i kinda of have a feeling that Ginjou could have been Kishin´s Vice Captain or something like that xd (just a weird feeling)

I completely agree, wasnt a big shocker to me that SS kept tabs on Ichigo, I mean when he invaded he ended fighting to a stand still and beating Byuaka and Kennpachi so he was already ungodly strong to begin with, plus they couldnt turn on him now because too many captains and vice captains would probably side with Ichigo after all he has done for them...
In my mind, it was an ok chapter.
