I just finished reading the ~400 chapters and 429 felt like hitting a wall. I think it's better one week at a time than getting straight to the end of the manga. Most of my thoughts when he fought aizen were "please don't end with this"

I was wondering about him losing his shinigami powers. His dad learned the final getsuga tensho and in a different part he was said to have "recovered his own powers". How did he do that and how long did it take him, considering he is much older than ichigo?

Second thing: did the hollow inside him disappear with his powers? I assumed the hollow was something different, but then it also tried to protect ichigo from learning that technique when he fused with zangetsu. did uryuu see what remained of his hollow?
