Bleach: Fate and the Strawberry
It?s turning. Rapidly. It?s moving. Quickly. What is it? Are we not confused? Why, it?s simple. Time?what led us from the beginning?from the 110 years before the pendulum?and to the 110 years after the pendulum. This is the tale of what is, and what is yet to come?
Chapter 1
A man with a regular shinigami robe walked down the corridor. On his robe was a white haori with a diamond on the back, showing the number ?5? on it. His hair was spiky and unusually orange. The man walked down the corridor with such silence and without responding to any greetings from his subordinates.
Shinigami (All): Good Morning, captain!
The man in the robe said nothing but simply smiled back at them and then kept walking. He arrived at an open crossroad of paths with a large door at the epicenter with the Division 1 insignia on it. There were 5 others waiting at the large door. There was a woman with silky black hair with a stray bang between her dark blue eyes which were as cold as ice. She too, was wearing a white haori, but on her back was the number ?6?. The man beside her with black hair, a set of three scars over his right eye, and a tattoo of the number 69, was examining his sheath. Behind him was a smallish kid with black hair wearing the standard shinigami outfit. The boy spoke.
Mizutoki: Captain Hisagi, have we come early again to this meeting?
Hisagi: As it would seem, since the commander captain isn?t here yet. So?Ichigo, how are things with your Squad having to change their duties to Reinforcement Ops?
Ichigo: They?re fine, I guess?*looks at Rukia* What?s with you?
Rukia: What? >_>
Ichigo: You?
Ichigo was interrupted by a captain with spiky hair like Hisagi?s but blonde. The man had two swords on him: one in his sheath on his left side of his waist and one on his back.
Roku: What?s all the fuss about?
Hisagi: How?s it going, Roku?
Roku: Pretty good. Research is coming along quite well, and it seems the Gotei 13 is reaching its peak in strength and time-wise.
Ichigo: Definitely. Although, all of this could cause problems in the near future because we have so many people from 100 years ago who have died. Come to think of it, Toushiro is the only captain left in the Gotei 13 from100 years ago that hasn?t died or retired.
Toushiro: It?s Hitsugaya-taicho to you. U_U
Rukia: Captain Hitsugaya! O_O
Toushiro: The meeting should be beginning in any minute. We should all go inside.
The shinigami entered through the giant door and stood in their appropriate positions, lined up perfectly along the room. Then, a tall man with dark hair and a cane came in with his lieutenant, a beautiful woman with black hair and pale skin. Everyone showed respect towards them and then stood perfectly still.
Zanji Uchiha: Let us commence this Captain?s Meeting by decree of The New Order of Central 46?Role Call?
Zanji took role and checked off that only 10 captains were in attendance.
Zanji: What?s this? There are only 10 captains present here today. Captains of Divisions 3, 7, and 12 are not here. Does anyone know the meaning of this?
Nobody spoke?elsewhere, an adjucas level hollow had just infiltrated West Rukongai. The adjucas was huge and took the form of a giant ape. It slammed its fist onto the ground, creating a huge crater and smashing buildings, and the civilians ran screaming in terror. But the, something caught the hollow?s attention?or rather, someone.
???: Well, well?it looks like their back.
Adjucas: *ROAR!!!!!* Who the hell are you?
???: So ugly. U_U?Yumichika Ayasegawa.
Adjucas: Who?!?!
Yumichika: Please don?t speak to me. I have a hard time looking at ugly faces. And the way you destroyed these buildings, not beautiful. U_U Split and Deviate? Ruri'iro Kujaku!
Yumichika?s zanpakuto grew four curved blades that quickly turned azure in color and transformed into hundreds of glowing peacock feather-like vines. The vines grabbed the hollow and pinned it down, sucking out its spiritual pressure with every second, and in no time, the flowers bloomed and the adjucas? spiritual pressure withered away.
Yumichika: U_U *takes zanpakuto and slices hollow in half*
???: Shouldn?t you be at the captain?s meeting?
Yumichika: No?I never attend them. Anyway?it?s starting. Can you tell?
???: Yeah?
Later at night, elsewhere in Soul Society, a woman in red with dark blue hair snuck around a squad barrack. She quickly slid past the guards and entered the main Squad House of Division 7. She had successfully snuck into the main room and she sneaked into the Captain?s Quarters. The captain was asleep in his bed. The woman pulled a knife from her back pocket and put it to his throat.
???: Goodbye, 7th Division Captain. >:}
The woman heaved her knife down into the sleeping Captain?s throat but it was suddenly blocked by a long katana. The woman looked to her right to see the wielder as none other than Jaiden Kaze.
Jaiden: Get away from my captain.
???: Oh my, a lost rat. Let?s deal with this pest.
The dark haired woman jerked her knife into Jaiden?s chest and immediately punched him into the wall. She walked over to Jaiden, who was covered in debris, and cut his head off with her knife which suddenly extended to the size of a katana.
???: A new slave for me.
Jaiden?s head suddenly spewed an insane amount of blood that leaked out and took the form of his original body as if to regenerate. But now, his body was covered in scars and his hair was dark red. He got up and bowed to the mysterious woman and then bowed to a large silhouette of others behind the woman.
???: Welcome to the family, Jaiden. Now kill your former captain?in front of your new brothers and sisters. *smirks*
