Chapter 5- Pride and Shame
Hisagi: We?ll be back. Leader, shall we go?
Urahara: Most definitely.
Urahara, Hisagi, and their elite shinigami stepped through the garaganta and the garganta soon closed. Urahara stepped out of the gate wearing his old captain?s uniform and his odd hat. He pointed his cane toward a huge city?Las Noches.
Urahara: I?m surprised it even exists now that Aizen is gone?
Hisagi: Either way, we need to go there and defeat those enemies. Does everybody know what their duties are? Defense Squad, defend the perimeter. Attack Force, charge into the palace and defeat any enemies you see. Backup Squad, do not let anyone die. Medical Team, have at least one member follow each battler. We leave in 18 hours. Dismissed!
Everyone flash stepped away to their duties. The attack squad was lead by Hisagi and other people wearing their shinigami robes, some wearing raggedy captain robes and some wearing nice regular captain robes. One shinigami broke off from the group to a different corridor in the building?s entrance to Las Noches. He ran far down the pathway and entered a huge room that was empty. On the ground were bones and rubble, and a small hollow mask that resembled a pointed pin. He looked around and took off his sand-protection mask. It was Yumichika. Yumichika looked around the empty room, nobody was there at all. He began to walk through the room, searching for something, or waiting. And then, suddenly a huge amount of spiritual pressure came out of nowhere and surrounded the room.
Yumichika: An Arrancar?
The arrancar appeared in the middle of the room. She had short, spiky green hair and was quite slim. Her hollow mask remains were covering the entire left half of her face and was shaped like a squid?s face. She looked calmly at Yumichika and spoke.
???: What are you doing here, shinigami?
Yumichika: Oh my, I?ve been encountered or rather, I have encountered the arrancar.
???: What purpose do you serve?
Yumichika: I?m sorry, but you are going to die today. *unsheathes zanpakuto*
???: Sorry captain-san, but you?re out of luck. I am the 5th strongest Numeros in our Mistress?s army.
Yumichika: A mere numeros? That?s hardly any fun, arrancar.
???: You keep calling me arrancar?why?
Yumichika: Is that not what you are?
???: Me, a simple arrancar. HA! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Never. We are the risen arrancar, the Sangre.
Yumichika: O_O wha?what? S?sangre?
???: Yes, the most powerful numeros of the sangre?Melina Rosa.
Yumichika: What the hell are the Sangre?
Melina suddenly struck Yumichika with her sword and a burst of reiatsu broke loose when their weapons clashed.
Yumichika: Such spiritual pressure. O_O
Melina: Shhh?can you hear it? Others have gone to their respective fights.
Yumichika: You crazy bitch, get away from me! Bloom, Fujikujaku!!!
Yumichika?s zanpakuto became a curved 4-bladed sickle-shaped blade. He slashed away at Melina, but she jumped back. Yumichika jumped into the air and said an incantation with his hand pointed toward Melina.
Melina: What?s this?
Yumichika: Carriage of Thunder. Bridge of a spinning wheel. With light, divide this into six! Bakudou #61: Rikujou Korou!
Six bars of light formed around Melina and bound her completely. She couldn?t move her arms or legs at all.
Melina: What is this?
Yumichika: Wow?caught already?pathetic. *slices Melina in half*

Melina?s top and bottom halves were cut completely, but suddenly, blood poured out and she regrew a new bottom half.
Melina: Too bad, shinigami. *opens mouth* Take this?
Something began to charge in Melina?s mouth. It was a small orb of highly concentrated reiatsu that was dark blue.
Yumichika: Cero? No?that can?t be. It has too much reiatsu.
Melina: Sangre cero!
The reiatsu was fired at Yumichika and had an incredibly wide range. It approached Yumichika and hit him hard, causing a huge explosion.
Yumichika: *pants* You Sangre are stronger than I expected, and far stronger than the arrancar.
Melina: Is that all you captain-class shinigami can do?
Yumichika: Don?t belittle me. You haven?t seen my full strength yet! *charges at Melina and swings Fukikujaku repeatedly*
Melina quickly avoided Yumichika?s attacks and slashed her zanpakuto across his chest, creating a large diagonal gash in Yumichika?s chest. She flew into the air and shot 20 bala blasts at Yumchika and they collided with a gigantic explosion.
Melina: He?s done for. U_U?
A black formation surrounded Yumichika. It was bigger than he, and it had arms and seemed to be attached to something. It?s color was completely black and like an endless pit. Behind the shadow, holding it, was a long, slim two-handed scimitar with white handle The shadow disappeared into the sword?s handle and the handle became black.
Yumichika: Akira! O_O
Akira: What the hell are you doing, Yumichika? Why don?t you release your shikai? Afraid of getting ridiculed? Ikkaku already knows.
Yumichika: What?!
Akira: It?s fine. He could care less. But?you never hold back against your enemy if you?re losing just because you are embarrassed. That kind of thing is more than cowardly?In this mission, you cannot afford to die. U_U
Melina: Who the hell are you?
Akira: I?m sorry. I forgot to introduce myself. 8th Division Captain, Akira Hisakata. Nice to meet you, Sangre.
Melina: Look?s like you?re in the know. You fought us before?
Akira: Once?when I was a lieutenant. Anyway, this is the end of the line for you, Melina Rosa. *smirks* Devour?Karasu Hane.
Akira?s shadow rose up and surrounded Melina Rosa completely and began to squeeze her to the point of suffocation. Melina screamed, but it was no use?her energy was being drained by the shadow?s reiatsu alone.
Akira: Devour. U_U
The shadow crunched on Melina and an explosion of reiatsu was contained within, but distorted itself to destroy the Sangre, completely.
Akira: *sheathes zanpakuto* Until you?ve seen the full extent of everyone?s abilites, never judge us shinigami.
