That was HOT!! I almost died of a heart attack, after 20min of pure exitement!
I'm not reading the manga, but i have to say even tough the episode was awesome i really hope they have have good explanation why ichigo survived that cero.

I don't really like this explanation, that a item witch no one has activated made him survive and made him bad ass. So i hope atleast they will explain a bit more later.

The way you're saying is that the Hougyoku juse magically made it happen and without it, it would never be possible. Then you're completely wrong and you didn't read the explanation well.
Not to mention if you are going to call the influence of the Hougyoku on Ichigo cheating, than Ulquiorra cheated the most. He became after all an Arrancar due to the Hougyoku in an awakened state, which probably wasn't even the case with Ichigo.
If you're going to call that cheating, they both cheated and especially Ulquiorra.
