For all you know, Shanks was still a rookie on his own. Shallow feats=shallow argument.

I don't understand why people are giving it to Teach just on the basis of a fight happened way backward in the manga about 13 years ago...
We've seen Teach fight, first against Ace then Luffy and finally some brawl with dying WB...
What I concluded is that, he's slow, over-confident, physically tough and stupid...
I don't know how even a decade back Shanks got scars from Teach but I'd not base my opinion on it too much...
Zoro wins this High diff... Because Teach gave Shanks a scar.

Yeah no. Black Hole can affect Zoro, but it has to make contact with him first.
Black Vortex won't affect Zoro at all as it pulls in the essence of Devil Fruit eaters, and Zoro hasn't eaten a DF.
Considering Zoro isn't a devil fruit user, he may have some advantage of not getting attracted by kurozou unlike Ace. And he is a swordsman possessing lethal attack, but Blackbeard is a tank. Either way it will be mid or high difficulty but Blackbeard wins

Scans please. I don't think BB can absorb physical damages like cuts or bruises.

Do we have an indication on how strong shanks was at the time? for all we know BB could of been>Shanks at the time of this happening.

You misunderstand. Basically, if Teach can cover his body with enough Darkness, or project enough Darkness around himself, he can trap any slashes Zoro sends in them. He can't absorb them with his body, but he can absorb them by coating his body with Darkness in the same way that his Darkness pulled in those houses and Impel Down guards.

So he suffers the pain but not actually gets hurt...
I wonder how long he can withstand Zoro's Haki imbued slashes when he can't even pull him...
One and only problem is Black Hole, I believe it isn't an instant absorption and can be distorted if the user is disturbed...

If he gets hit on his body, he will feel more pain than normal people.
If he is able to absorb it with his fruit, the damage will disappear into the darkness and won't damage him.
Normal logia's can get their bodies cut, be he can't. He however can use his ability to absorb the attacks but it comes at a risk of getting hurt more.
He can also use the darkness to engulf other things, pull in DF users and negate their ability.

if so can he absorb a damage of a killer attack ? stab to the heart , getting cut in half all this attacks make you die instantly he is not that logia so he cant pull his self back can darkness absorb that and pull him back in one piece ?
he didnt show much of CoA so tankin zoro`s attacks isnt possiple and he is not fast actullay he is very slow so dodging is off the table too

You're misunderstanding. He's gonna pull the slash into the Darkness instead of letting it touch his body.
