Or if it's just two the scared dumb one and the confident smart one

Shanks has three scars thanks to the three bladed weapon blackbeard used back in the day , I forget which chapter you see it in.

Blackbeard could have multiple personality disorder, or he could legit be more than one person.

Yes, it was kinda subtle but you could tell blackbeard was someone different the two times they encountered him.dude was luffy 2.0, then he was taling like a freedo fighter ad then I guess his dominant, evil personality took over frm then on. I don't think he is genuinely an evil guy though. seems possessed.

That could be it, but the way nami acts and everything, just seems like oda is telling us different. 3 skulls on his jolly Roger, multiple personalities, he goes from scared and a coward, to threatening to destroy marine ford, to acting exactly like luffy. Usopp does nothing does nothing like this, hes just a coward, blackbeard hated booze when he first met luffy then as you see, he says it's good when they're parting, Marco said his body was atypical, and even whitebeard said he never knew who blackbeard really was. And everyone in the crew agreed they couldn't understand him
