So most of us ASSUME kaido has some type of zoan. Especially with his commanders and army. He's a bit obsessed with zaons, and REALLY wanted a dragon duplicate zoan. Plus he has ties to wano.

So if he did have a zoan, most of us would assume it's the original dragon. In Japanese mythology dragons are "the strongest creatures" and have some immortality.

If this is the reason kaido can't be killed, than couldn't blackbeard using dark fruit, negate his zoan or df, making him vulnerable and than BAM QUAKE TO THE MF DOME

Kaidou is as physically capable as Whitebeard is and Big mam. He fell from skypeia to an island unscathed and his skin is durable enough to withstand guillotines, stabbing, and bullets.

So him being a yonkou means that he’s not so dependent on his devil fruit only, he’s brutal in strength to fight Teech. Teech is a trickster so he might have a way of taking him down.

Basically. If kaido couldn't die due to being a dragon zoan, could bb win?
Hmm probably not, at least, not like it turns it into a stomp. Kaido's body was durable enough to withstand every method of torture and execution they tried, and I can't imagine they'd do that to a DF user without Sea Stone. Especially not if the DF itself is causing the durability that's letting him survive.

a giant is a giant...a giant with haki is a bigger giant. if he did have a DF it wouldnt matter kaido is a beast whos skin alone deflects any weapons, chapter 795.
BB only recks DF users, only one worth mentioning thats relates to BB is kuzan aokiji who is under his control because either BB is manipulating aokiji cause BB is the kinda to play dirty or BBs haki is as strong or better than aokiji in order to keep aokiji in check.

but a battle with kaido low diff.

Kaido probably isn't using a devil fruit. He might be using some other medium of power which's why he couldn't even be assasinated which weakens the devil fruit user and also imagine that Akainu and admirals with devil fruit powers couldnt kill/defeat him. Manga states he's the strongest creature which means he's already a creature with that amount of durability no need for a zoan fruit to make him into such. He's from a race like minks.

Would be cool if he was a different race. But he has a Japanese dragons beard. Dragon scales tattooed on his shoulder. Oda loves using Japanese mythology. In Japanese mythology dragons have impenetrable scales and are the strongest creatures alive.... Just like kaido.

If kaido wasn't a zoan I don't think he would care for a zoan specific army

I still think it looks more like a koi scale pattern

His moustache also looks like long Koi whiskers

Dragon's have those too though, and it would make more sense for him to be a dragon I just think it'd be funny to see the strongest creature be a fish.

How ****ing ironic would it be if the strongest dude in the OP verse had a freakin' fish Devil Fruit.

Right. And we've all been questioning it, if there's a DF that can help/work in/with water. Would certainly help in the Best in the land/air and sea claim.

Just found this, seems Koi and Dragons are connected in Asian cultures
Dragon's Gate on Yellow River

According to Chinese legend, there was a place called Dragon's Gate at the top of a large waterfall on Yellow River. Carp would swim up the river, against the current to reach the base of the waterfall. Although many would try, only a few were brave and able enough to attempt the final leap up the waterfall. It was said that if a carp was able to complete the journey through Dragon's Gate at the top of the falls, then it would be transformed into a powerful dragon. In Chinese culture, the dragon is a symbol of great power. The story symbolizes that anybody who is able to persevere through great trials can accomplish their highest goals to become great.
