Yea, you are the only one who notices that there is a big group of people with skin that is shaded darker than the norm of cartoons......seriously, why would you need to point that out? People are so immature it's ridiculous. By just pointing that out I can already tell that you are a very stereotypical person. Stop paying so much attention to race and color and just enjoy the damn cartoon. I swear the USA is one of the only places that like to point out race on every damn thing, it is sad and pathetic and the main reason why people are so divided. This goes out to everyone who is egging this on...."I'm black and I think it's funny"....your a moron, have you ever heard the saying give them an inch and they'll take a mile??? Think about it then say it's funny.

Give them a mile and maybe they'll understand after all that walking. It takes a lot to offend me, and I don't really care about races or racism, whether it's against my people or not. I just want to enjoy the show with you guys. The worst thing you can do is be offended by people posting up their opinion. Especially when they don't care about what you say. Most of these people just want a pulpit anyways. IMO, I think it would help you to have fun and join the laughter than try to change a whole country off of an anime forum.

I understand the "give them an inch and they'll take a mile." As a black dude I don't have a problem where the "black" characters are located and I rarely pay attention to it now. Usually i joke around about this kind of shyt, as I don't take it seriously, but your right because we say we dot care now until shyt gets real (serious/intense). It does have to do with a sense of maturity, but ah nt wrong with joking around alil. The stereotype shyt (rapnshyt) is alil dumb and I didn't like that too much.

Also the "er" and "a" does represent a difference in sum pplz eyes lol

HA!HA! @ this thread and all the serious peeps bitchin'. I'm mixed, born early 70's, and I too noticed, but didn't think anything of it. Much of it is pretty tongue-in-cheek humour, it's great!

I hardly believe the writers meant for the stereotypes to offend.

Wow! I never really thought about the race in Naruto, but it never really mattered to me. Naruto is obviously not Japanese but who cares? The manga is still good and funny.
