No one said it should though, but honestly you're not exactly understanding the point. No one is saying that the movement isn't exactly vital for the importance of African American's in the Justice System, but the importance of the Movement itself. Whether this or that is acceptable or isn't acceptable, isn't exactly my issue. We all understand how blacks, and other races, face racial diversity in most of America. However what I pointed out is that a movement that is focused on mainly African American's lives which are being lost left and right, unjustly of course, is only shown through half of the POV.And I'm telling you that your point of view is fascicle, your suppose read my response before you reply to it. So I'll repeat myself, could the black community (i.e. BLM) be more vocal about black on black violence? Yes! Is black on black violence getting the coverage it should get? No! Does any of those things make the US justice system is undoubtly racially biased. Whether you want to believe it or not Indra, a man being shot while going for is vehicle information is unacceptable! A healthy woman dying in police custody is unacceptable.
I somewhat agree, somewhat disagree. It's not just about fixing the problems within the community, but it's about shedding light on them. The police officer, whom interviewed American's, stated that the majority felt that they are only one's being treated unfairly in the name of the law, but in total statistics, they aren't. It's common stereotype, and joke, that black men/women are afraid of the police for the reasons we all know. But at the same time beneath the surface, police killed more white men then black men that same year. The problem itself isn't just the government, it's a mixture of that and the community itself. Fixing the Justice System isn't going to amount into the entire population changing it's views, basically Rome wasn't built in the day.You must be registered for see images
But yes the black community faces major problems with in our own community Indra but you need to understand that a lot of problems stem directly from law enforcement more so; government affairs so to say that black people shouldn't be as vocal about flawed justice system and more vocal about black on black violence is bonkers. Fixing the problems within our own community isn't gonna work with an independent effort (black community by itself; it's gonna take the involvement of police and the justice system to help; which is why we need to fix it now.
But that essentially goes back to what I was saying before. One step at a time, is understandable, although the fact that we are being negligent to half of the problem, is in itself the problem too. "Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it."
All in all I'm just saying that we need to focus on the countless lives being lost from black on black crime, and at the same time, focus on the problem with the Justice system.
Thousands of black men died in comparison to the almost near-two hundred whom were killed by police officers. Both equally as important, no? We need the larger, and more vocal movements, to start focusing on both the problems. At least shedding some light until we are completely ready to start working on them, that's all.
