Bet, I'll do that man!But yeah bro check out that article
That's because you can't comprehend why it was createdBlack history month.. kinda racist itself.
If there was a "whites" month do you understand the chaos it would cause? That's because you can't comprehend why it was created
Just certain white people can't say and do in today's society. I would bring up this whole thing about this topic but I ain't up for a 5 paragraphs per post .....so..If there was a "whites" month do you understand the chaos it would cause?
Why focus on a point so long ago about such negativity if we are trying to be rid of racism? A whole month too.
whats also racist is in my area black people get a few days off work, schools throw parties DURING lessons and white people arent allosed in. Why not? I want to celebrate too. I hate slavery and racism.
Its just odd how everyone is fighting for fairness whether your white black muslim jew whatever and yet events like these are created and single out other groups.
I have nothing against im with it, its just black history month is against racism yet a few aspects of it is rascist
Best example: black people can call white people anything from milk to ghost boy yet if a white man says the word 'black' people jump to the conclusion of racism.
Half understood that dude. Im not either I just had to get out a few examples I know of.Just certain white people can't say and do in today's society. I would bring up this whole thing about this topic but I ain't up for a 5 paragraphs per post .....so..
You misunderstand its purpose by a long shot. It's not about revisiting the negativity, it's about understanding our history, not just for black Americans, but all Americans. African Americans don't even really know there ancestors. Americans try to avoid this part of history because they don't want to face it. Instead in high we hear fairytale stories of how brave certain individuals, yet never acknowledge the how WE got to where we are today. If there was a "whites" month do you understand the chaos it would cause?

Please dont talk to me like im a kid. Ive clearly been miss informed and told it in a different way. I still stand by fairness because this black history month does cause racism however what youve said about remembering individuals who helped the cause for equal rights and what not I shall personally look into and read whats been posted about these individuals. You misunderstand its purpose by a long shot. I would go a lot further it's it's almost 5am and i need sleep, but I'll certainly address this fully later.
Let's not make this about fairness but of your lack of understanding. Ask and you shall be told.
I'm glad you understand.Half understood that dude. Im not either I just had to get out a few examples I know of.
Not my intention, my mistake if you took it that way. Please dont talk to me like im a kid. Ive clearly been miss informed and told it in a different way. I see your point, I dont understand the feelings though because I myself am white and have fortunately never experienced or met anyone with a terrible past. (If thats the right word) I have loads of black friends and when slavery is mentioned I find it upsetting how a human can treat others with such little respect. I only bring "fairness" into it on the example of my old school.I'm glad you understand.
It's just huge blow when you only in 1st grade finding that your people were enslaved because of their skin color.
When I first heard that... I was in shock and I've never looked at white person the same since then. I don't know why either.
It's like when you find out some messed up stuff about someone and you can't give them the same look you had before you found out.
I know it wasn't they fault but still.... Their blood lives in you. I'm just kidding btw... about some of it.
Thanks dude. After youve awoke from night time slumber I would like to hear your opinion too. Its the best way right? Sod articles I want to hear opinions from those who.. how do I say it.. ive never had an opinion from a black person really. I have friends but they dont go into it as much as this thread has.Not my intention, my mistake if you took it that way.
Regardless, most individuals are either misinformed or have completely been shielded by American history. Therefore, your confusion is understandable but I'm pointing out your concern regarding what's fair. Fairness isn't nor should it be an issue regarding this month.
Btw Black history month doesn't "cause" racism, those who were already racist have a problem with its celebration or any celebration.
It's not just about the progression to equal rights, but about the reality how America was built. How African American's suffered, like others but in the process lost their identities.
If you want to look up something look into how slave families were handled during slavery. That's a great place to start.
I'ma KO now
I just don't understand how someone can treat someone so low over something so irrelevant.I see your point, I dont understand the feelings though because I myself am white and have fortunately never experienced or met anyone with a terrible past. So tell me forgotten, you seem like a man who stands for what he says, I would like to hear YOUR opinion/feelings whether it be short or long.
Bro just Google Why black history month was created and I'll even give you a head start the name of its creator is Carter Godwin Woodson. Bro be realistic for a moment and I'm not being "racist" but what real creations have white people brought to this planet bro the Eiffel tower was an fake Pyramid, all some white people do is spend time watch & mimicking other cultures fact example: Egyptology the study of Egypt bro you don't see Englandtology they barley explain what happen to the Druids in Ireland bro getting exiled for giving you knowledge and building Castles to get your kingdoms out of the barns with "livestock" phuck out of here. I'm just being real bro you can't get made but if you want to then come at meIf there was a "whites" month do you understand the chaos it would cause?

Nope. That is actually a pretty good statement. Strong too.I just don't understand how someone can treat someone so low over something so irrelevant.
And I still feel like even though people in America want to try and cover it up. Racism is very much still alive because I witness it every single day. Over things so f-cking dumb. I've never heard such idiotic reasons to try and dehumanize them.
So I hate when people try cover up all the racism Amercia's has had which still lives today and even more try ignore the history. It's a "nice" place to live but how it was built is just f-cking disgusting.
Sorry, if I went everywhere, lol.
And what is thatNope. That is actually a pretty good statement. Strong too.
Thanks for sharing dude, honestly, youve rattled my head a bit and im starting to understand the true meaning of black history month and just how much it has, had and will effect people.
