She may be too general but she was a strong woman. It takes a lot to lead slaves all the way to freedom. My memory may be foggy since it's been awhile that I followed up on her so this may be wrong but I'm sure it isn't all the way false.


But I knew she couldn't take them to Northern states after awhile because they had a new law. So if she did take them there, they would be sent right back so she had to lead them all the way to canada.

Generally i don't think one of this generation would have had the ccourage she or anyone else had during that era. Most people surely wouldn't have returned to free more slaves. Lol

Creating such a thread shouldn't be the reason for it to be deleted. People spam in 90% of threads and mobs make the choice to delete those post, not the entire thread. This topic/thread wasnt intended to cause such responses.

Users now generally more immature so these responses are as expected. Regardless, that shouldn't stop one from making them. Hell I'll start making one for each day again

Thing is they have limited options, either deleting or closing it. Closing will cause people to play the racism card. Deleting posts in said threads leads nowhere as people will just post more and more unnecessary posts/comments. It's a lot easier to just delete it altogether to avoid further ''damage''. It's nothing personal against the thread's maker or the reason it's made.

Hey, it happened. I use to live in this town down in the south and there was story about a black guy who whistled at a white woman and hours later, these men came and got him. Dragged him out his home, tied him up to their pick up truck and dragged him down a white neighborhood shaming him then set him on fire.

Really makes you greatful for the rights we have today, because It was hard back then.
Couldn't even drink from same water fountain.

That case will forever scar me! He was unrecognizable and he was only 14 years old! Why remove his genitals? Jealous of a young man, smh. Those people are crazy.
