The weird part is someone should have noticed, other than just a gut feeling, that there was something wrong with Vengeance as seriously how could that mask cover up his identity?

You are right but then Yami has had the most interaction with Licht. He had said that he seemed to recognize him from somewhere back then too. By the time other knights had arrived Licht was already down. Those who may know him only as Vengeance and didn't pay enough attention to Licht or didn't have enough contact with him as Licht may miss the similarities. ( that's if my guesses about the current situation are correct) Or am I forgetting something?

Interesting chapter,the markings on the captain of Golden Dawn mask is similar to Lichts markings on his cheeks? Is it Licht?
