It's hilarious that Charmy's hand was so vague it had to be labeled. I actually looked at it and wondered if it were herself in a comical style. Charmy's magic also needs to be nerfed, hax magic like this really makes me wonder how wizard kings could retain their positions for even a few weeks.

Wizard kings are on whole another level. They have better stats in cleverness and stamina too not just magic control. And the "post" is awarded on merit- "show results".

Charmy is good with large reserve of mana but it fluctuates with her mood. If she is having a normal fight, it stays on a regular level. When someone gets her in way (usually between her and her food), her magic rises. Mostly used for comic relief or as a gag and it did just that this chapter. We will never know how someone can get accidental sauce from food on face in that shape, otherwise.

Well yea. She was highest ranked magic knight in BB after Yami, if I remember correctly, when Asta joined. BB members are magic knights meaning they are strong and among possible contenders for Magic Emperor's job if they can prove themselves, after all. They were not weak but most of the members lacked motivation to rise up in ranks; they were undisciplined lone wolves even as a group. That's what was lacking there.

Chapter felt okay. I wonder what was Gauche planning onto in Royal Capital. Still no whereabouts of Fake Licht. I really wonder he was actually planning to do.

Lolled at Aster and Henry being good friends, that completely came out of the blue.

For the rest nothing much happened. The pace of the story really started to slack a bit.

Everyone's Grimoire is a Magical item whereas Asta's Grimoire is an Anti-Magical item. Simply to put it into... Asta's Grimoire has Anti-Magic properties and the swords from Grimoire can nullify the magic.

Yep everyone are magicians... they are born with mana(magic) and whereas Asta wasn't born with any mana. Zero Mana. So that makes him wield that 5 Clover Leaf Grimoire. Good noticing the devil image on the background.... I suggest you to read manga further to know about it yourself. I would rather like to not spoil it for you.
