Okay so Julius died. Does Grimoire gets destroyed along with the death of its owner?!. Or it happens for the Time based grimoires?. Either way... now Licht looks twisted!. That symbol on Julius forehead too disappeared along with him. Is that symbol connected to his grimoire or is it the symbol to state his position as a Magic Emperor?. I think maybe former.

I almost thought maybe Julius will name Yami as his successor. Who is the next Magic Emperor?. Any guesses?. William can't be. He is gone. The next in the row is Yami. Or maybe Meleoleona?. Or some royalty we haven't gotten to introduced yet!. Maybe Meleoleona 'cause I think Tabata introduced her for this purpose.

Well... then so it looks like the Elder got revived. The person who fought 1st Magic Emperor, maybe. And Yuno may have awakened his powers or got manipulated. We might get to learn about Yuno's origins sooner than we thought.

Crazy cause it seems their hometown might have a beast awaken there. If so I’m sure sister them gonna die.

I also think the next emperor is gonna be somebody we have yet to see . Yami isn’t fit to be emperor based on personality alone. Neither is the royals . Or the new crimson lion girl. I can see fugeloen waking up and becoming emp but I think they need to introduce a new character

Symbol was connected to his grimoire, I thought. But some panel's seem to indicate he didn't have it till he became Emperor. So I'm not sure.

It really seems Julius is gone...kinda anticlimactic. On the other hand we seem to have been correct about Yuno and the others being connected to the elves and there's definitely a connection here with the demon. First I thought the skull was just being shown as a subtle reference, but now I've noticed they are in the skull preforming the ritual. Can't wait to see how this is going to affect Aster.

It has been stated that if you die, your grimoire disappears. It hasn't been explained though where grimoires exactly come from, something that's long overdue IMO.

And it's highly unlikely Yami is going to be the next emperor. Putting aside that this doesn't seem to be a decision that can be made by the previous emperor; many people already have issues with having Yami, a low-born foreigner, being a captain. An uncouth one at that. Considering Vengeance now also out of the question, the most likely candidate is Nozel.

Yep. I forgot about Gauche. Did you noticed that the light emanating from Sephirot Stone Tablet is passed in all over direction in it's range. That light might have covered all the Clover Kingdom too. So, my guess is like Yuno... Gauche too have affected by its light. Maybe not just Gauche. There might be a lot of Elf spirits elsewhere. I do like to put it more like.... rather than getting awakening their powers, Yuno(elf) have awakened their spirits and their life path..... like Licht.

With this chapter, we can almost conclude that Nero is no way relating to Elder Elf Spirit and was not plotting something terrible behind Aster's back all along!. Nero might do a trick in not having Elder to forcefully take his Swords.

What if Nero is also an Elf?. Who was transformed into a bird?. That light may have affected Nero too if it is one them kind. Maybe a Good Elf. What do you think about Nero as a Character and its role further in the series?. Where is Nero?. Suspicious!.

Haha. Keeping personal preferences aside. What you said is true tho. Nozel might be one if not Meleoleona. IMO.... I thought it is good to have Yami as the Emperor. Because not only he has a good connection with Julius but also one of the strongest Captain if not the strongest. And as far as "producing results" thingy goes.... his Squad is second after Golden Dawn. I thought it is a good time to introduce Black Bulls Vice Captain by appointing him as a Captain of Black Bulls and having Yami as a Emperor.

It's officially Asta not Aster. Apparently when JB started translating it their translater insisted on keeping it 'Aster'. But they are editing even the older chapters with that spelling.

I wouldn't be surprised if Yuno defeats the elder?! >_<. Haha. Well.. I think it is other way around. They all might flee or the Elfs moves to somewhere else warning them that they will be back sometime later. Yuno might as well as goes with them. And Aster might be dealt with severe casualties. That is all I think. Time till.... Next chapter seems too lonnngggg. Honestly, I haven't been this excited about a manga chapter since months.

I want Nero to do something epic. What if there is a sudden plot twist that.... Asta is the incarnation of the demon that is why he has no magic power. lol. After his Grimoire is robbed off from him.... he unexpectedly develops affinity for the magic.... just kidding.

Yeah but say... what is your take on Yuno and Asta who are left at the Church by someone unknown?. Why Asta has born with no magical powers?. Why Yuno is complete opposite of Asta?. I always wonder about this. Maybe we will get to know answers about these in coming chapters. I always find it rather peculiar that Asta is simply not born with magic. I think there is more to it than just a sheer luck that he has no magic power and got to wield the Anti-Magic Swords.

And yeah.... personally I want Gauche to shake hands with the Elf Elder Leader(lol). Not only that advances shock to the Clover Kingdom and Black Bulls but also to his 'God-knows-whoever' that Mary is!. And I want Yuno become one with the Elf leader because of whatever his blood/elf origins.. Not only that serves as a catalyst for Asta's growth but also a bigger shock to the Kingdom.

Me neither. I want Yami to be the Next Magic Emperor. That's really a good point. But at the start of the manga.... most of the Royals behaved in that way. Maybe Nozel changed now?!. I think Fuegoleon may wakes up in next few chapters. He may be named as Emperor. Tabata brought up Fuegoleon in this chapter referencing that Julius feels sad not see Fuegoleon waking up from his Coma. Maybe Fuego wakes up in the next chapters and becomes a Magic Emperor.

Yeah. Now that Meleoleona is the Captain of Crimson Lion Kings. She may not be promoted next up. And also... Fuegoleon is stated to be strong enough to become Magic Emperor(idk which chapter). May not be as strong as Julius. Julius is just too strong for anybody. Speaking of which.... Fuegoleon's image fits into the Magic Emperor. But now he is handicapped. I doubt he could regain his past strength. But yet again in magical world... that is not a thing to bother.

Still none of the captains reached to Julius except for Yami. And Marx went to bring Doctor and is already on way back. We can pretty much say that Yami Vs Licht is bound to happen sometime in future.

Yami being one of the strongest captains is very well open for debate and that he had a good relationship with Julius and currently is the captain of the 2nd strongest squad, seems to be rather irrelevant. Don't forget that till recently his squad was the lowest and least respected of all the squads. Add to that the fact that he's a low-born foreigner with a questionable overall demeanor, I don't think his high on the list of the potential people who have to decide the next emperor.

The problem with Meleo is simply her personality. Despite her strength, she only became a squad captain as a replacement for her brother. She doesn't seem to have that symbol on her forehead either that shows she has the ambition to become the Emperor and honestly I never felt she was all that interested in being involved in any of this in the first place, let alone becoming the Magic Emperor, and that she's only doing this out of a sense of duty towards her brother.

She's also quite the odd one out in the royal family as she's rather wild.

So that pretty much only leaves Nozel. He isn't that particularly rude as that's normal behavior for most nobles. In fact he can actually be considered to be rather decent in that regard as he is able to put things into perspective. For instance he took note of Aster when they fought Licht the first time and was quick to put his siblings in place when they were mocking Fuego for losing, while they weren't even there in the first place to fight.

Agreed!. But what do you think are the chances of Feugoleon waking up and taking Emperor throne?.

And yeah.... Yami being one of the strongest captains if not the strongest alone is hinted more enough by Tabata so far in the manga. There is a chapter(72) dedicated to him referencing his fight with Licht.
