I think they are gonna resurrect Elf leader using that stone tablet. I kinda liked the parallel showed between Asta and Julius in this chapter!. Julius might not die!.

Theory/prediction: Nero is the elf leader's spirit.

The random guys in the terrorist base told invading Magic knights it didn't matter if they died since they all were going to be resurrected soon. Fana, and William certainly are not elves but were possessed by some elf spirit. Maybe same is the case with others too- maybe all of them are possessing human bodies and waiting to be resurrected not just elf leader.

And yep Julius is not dead yet. William so deserved a kick in the least before running away...he set Julius up in the worst possible way. I wonder what that single tear even mean.


In the mean while Mereo, Nozel and party on a wild goose chase. They still don't suspect that they have been taken a bait to remove them from the capital.

Julius may not die. He will recover. William as planned will resurrect their Elf leader and friends. They will form a organization of their own. Most likely that is what may happen. I feel something terrible might happen to either Asta or Yuno.

. So trying to connect that with the first chapter of the manga... it looks like First Magic Emperor fought the Demon God summoned by Elf leader and defeated them may generations ago. And since then till time.... Licht waited for a moment and took his plans into motion to resurrect the Elf leader. If we think that is the case with Licht trying to resurrect Elf leader from many centuries ago.... I find it hard to fit his story in the timeline. So, I guess some dots are still yet to be revealed.

And yeah I think it is William who cried for what happened to Julius but not.... Licht. Licht and Valtos acting like they have all the stones. What about the stone in possession of Yuno?
