I use

Earth Release: Rock to Dust
To convert the to inch or so of soil beneath our feet to dust

Then I use

Wind Release: Great Breakthrough
To blow the dust into the air, covering the area in a big, thick dustcloud

And I use

Lava Release: Earth to Lava
Coverting the dust in the air into lava, turning the large, thick dustcloud that we're within into a giant ball of lava.
