Sandmand is simply covering ur body with earth.
You can stop earth in mid air. Gaara does the same thing with sand

Gaara can do it because he can CONTROL sand..Only Gaara can do that..

in my personal opinion i think they are trying to say... yes people use moves they do not own but it would be more suitable if they perhaps use moves that are suited to their combat style... for example yamato may copy some moves off zabuza because yamato can use water too.

and yes i looked back over it and he did cover his mouth on it even if it was for a short amount of time... but that was still against a large solid object and we wont see if he can use it against small particles now... . but for future reference i dont think he covers his eyes so next time try to blind him

it seemed like he was using a jutsu that made him virtually untouchable... i think this may have been some bad translation bisha got or maybe had just not submitted it yet...

Sand is basically earth.
U dont have to be gaara to be able to move it especially if its a jutsu.
His jutsu was basically enveloping around his body. And about the stopping earth in mid-air. There is also a jutsu that allows that.

Or if u wouldnt try to do anything to win.
When u couldnt defend against something u quickly resorted to saying something isnt fair or thats not right.

U were playing judge, right? A judge doesn't test someone of being able to lose (everyone is, and everyone would do anything to win, including you).
