With the bijuu hand being way bigger that a normal hand, you can think of the scale of the lightning coming at you. But of course this lightning first hits the dragon fireballs stopping them, and continuing on towards Kisame and Itachi. preventing Kisame from doing the Swamp jutsu unless he want to be hit.
