you don't really think that way, when you don't know who your parents are, why you were born into this world, what you are even suppose to do and on top of that you are younger than 10 years old.

I feel like they could have just dragged Fugaku out and had a large conversation with him, both Shisui and Itachi included, that might have changed Fugaku's mind with no violence involved equaling happy ending.
