Better way to deal with Uchiha massacre?

What would have been a more effective way? Although Itachi says if he consulted Sasuke, things may have been different but how many other options could there have been?

The guy who made the "Itachi should have handled the Uchiha Massacre differently" thread is a ****ing idiot.

All I can think of is executing Danzo because he obviously didn't want a treaty of sorts; he even prevented Shisui from trying to us KA to prolong the coup'. Itachi was a trusted anbu to Danzo so maybe he could have tried to quietly backstab him (but that might cause huge suspicion/controversy towards the Uchiha) then use Shisui's eye on his father to convince him to call off the coup?

Or maybe Itachi could have threatened to expose the secrets of the leaf if Danzo didn't comply/fuel the fire anymore then have Shisui's eye use KA on his father and proceed to leave the village.

The people in the village ain't no fool. They noticed that the 9 tails didn't attack the uchiha area and some of them know that the Uchiha clan can control the 9 tails if they want to. So they think that they're responsible for the the attack on the village. With that in mind, nobody would like an uchiha as a hokage.

Kurama didn't attack a lot of the village.. In fact, Kurama barely destroyed anything. Not all Uchiha can control a Bijuu though, and they suspected the Uchiha because it was known that "only" Hashirama (because of Mokuton which only he had) and Madara (because of the sharingan which a fair few Uchiha have) could control Bijuu, Madara went AWOL and the Uchiha are prone to "madness" or "hate" so that was their best bet.

nope, Tobirama was simply a guy who thought about the village. The reason Madara was unpopular was due to him going against Hashirama all the time. Even when he offered peace and stuff. And then he started spewing about betraying hashirama to his clan members.. while Tobirama didn't spread hatred directly towards the uchiha.


Even the Uchiha clan didn't have any problems with Tobirama.

Of course they blame naruto too. The village just want somebody to blame. So they blame them both. If that how the village act, they should be destroy. Nobody shouldn't be living in a village like that. That's why I have no respect for naruto, He basically worked hard to be acknowledge by other people. You shouldn't have to change yourself for other people to acknowledge you. If they don't like you, then oh well.

nope, watch the anime. the Uchiha constantly got bashed on for not "helping out"

^^ And then they got the blame for the attack tiself.. when it was leaders who actualy told them not to help.. and when they recieved the orders of not to help against the attack.. alot of uchiha were pissed off...
