Kishi is not gonna play a troll to fool us or anything. Because the damage of that dna testing is already done. So far your arguement is soley banked on Sakura's relation to Sasuke. What will you do when Kishi writes it in your face that the dna thing was actually legit?

All in all Karin being the mom sh!ts more on her and Sasuke; Sakura still gets a way better image than them both combined (better being an idiot but a good mother than a couple of deadbeat parents, that´s basic knowledge).Chapter 8 achieved what truly worried me, and the trailer implies Sarada is just happy enough to ignore her "genetics" and favor her "nurture" so...

The only thing Sarada and Karin have in common are the glasses. Notice that when Suigetsu finished the DNA test he said nothing about their looks. Instead he said her glasses kinda looked like Karin's. So again it's just the glasses that look alike. Even Sarada has never said anything about their looks....and Sakura had a picture of Team Taka not just Karin.....There's a secret going around for sure but that doesn't mean it's about the birth mother.

Bingo!! in your second and third pharagraph you issued the true mistery of this the dilema. Looks are irrelevant, as I proved there are a lot of lookalikes in the NV that nonetheless aren´t related by blood between themselves.

The picture things and the words of Sasuke, Sakura, Karin and (apparently) Shizune may solve this mistery once and for all. Other sources of "answers" could still be red herrings -Kishi is a b@stard cruel enough to waste the Gaiden in a herring. Ask NaruSaku. They´ll tell you good enough.

The reason I like SS is precisely the drama and anguish between the couple, which in turn makes the pairing dynamic and interesting -and in a way realistic, RL couples hit their rough patches once in a while. Perfect couples with 0 issues don´t exist and only belong in Disneyland- (yeah, i like to pamper my inner sadist a lot, sue me).

If they *survive* drama and stick together as a family we can say they at least got resilience. That in itself is an interesting message by itself.
