Best Starter Pokemon

Many of you already love or atleast like Pokemon games and play or have played them. And ofcourse starting out each game comes with a crucial decision that could vary the way your entire main game experience is like.
So, I too ask you the player, that very question...
What starter Pokemon would you choose?:shrug: And which is best (interms of both awesomeness and ability).
Personally mine vary per each Generation.
So:
1st Gen. (Kanto): Charmander
2nd Gen. (Johto): Cyndaquil
3rd Gen. (Hoenn): Tochic
4th Gen. (Sinnoh): Piplup
5th Gen. (Unova): Oshawott

Charmander, in a fight it would probably pwn. Even as a young, starter pokemon, his attack and stats are probably stronger than a normal pokemon. I believe that it's the best fire starter pokemon. Not to mention that Charizard, it's evolved version, is simply one of the best dragon-type pokemons eva!
