na m8, kabuto was under sasori's control. Not his fault. Orochimaru also knew Kabuto better than anyone and Itachi was around a bunch of strangers. Don't compare those 2, they're not related.

look up a term called 'author's intentions' , there is no purpose at that stage in the story for the writer to throw in a fact that is not true. The author needs to create tension and inform the audience.

Why am I even debating this, clearly nothings beating your bias. I can name like 2-3 ninja that are better spies. Might not be stronger than Itachi, but are better at the spywork. Admit a defeat for once fanboy.
