Best PG- Chris Paul

Best SG- Kobe Bryant but Wade is closing in

Best SF- lerbon

Best PF- Dirk

Best C- i hate to say Dwight, but Pau Gasol only plays Center when bynum is hurt

Define best player, if you're talking about the player with the most talent, than yes it's lebron, his strength and athleticism is insane, but if you're talking about the best player in general it's either derek rose or dwayne wade, I'll give my reasons.

If you'd asked me 2 years ago I definitely would've said lebron but in comparison to his years in cleaveland lebron had a very off year, he was completely outshadowed by dwayne wade on the court, especially in the playoffs.


By position

PG Derek rose hands down, dunno why anyone would question that, chris paul is pretty good but he has nothing on derek rose.

SG Wade

SF Kevin durant, once again as an overall player he beats labron, if we're talking talent it's lebron but durant is a better "player" than lebron.

PF Dirk

Center Dwight Howard

If we're talking all time none of these players come close(yet) to Jordon, Kareem, Bird, Johnson, and the list goes on and on, although imo it's gotta be jordon as #1 all time.

True, but if he wasn't so good at driving he'd be a perfect point guard, fast, good ball handler, good passer, can direct an offense, and so on. The only difference between him and any other point guard is his ability to take over a game, he'd probably be better suited as a shooting guard based on the way he plays, but when it comes down to the way the position is played he is just a good as good as chris paul, the fact that he takes over the game is what makes him better.

your right dude he's i think he's a better overall player then chris paul, but for me as pg you have to be pass first shoot later and derrick is the MVP of driving to the hoop and finishing

Exactly, that's the difference between him and you're average point guard, he CAN play the traditional way a point guard does, but he is the MVP of driving and scoring so thats what he does, he'd be better suited as a SG but until he is moved he is still the best PG.

I disagree with this Lebron is better overall than Durant not just talent.

he is the better passer, driver, can jump higher, is stronger, and gets more rebounds, assists, and steals and almost everything else but points.

Also you said there is a list of people better than Lebron. Nope

He is better than many legends such as Charles Barley and more. He is better than Magic Johnson if you ask me.

Like I said, talent wise james is better but he is completely out-shadowed by wade, he doesn't have the ability to step up and carry the heat(as proof when he scored 8 points or something in the finals when wade was out), durant carries the thunder, makes the big shots, makes big passes, and he plays with the biggest "chucker" in the game in westbrook(he's good but when push comes to it he takes so many bad shots), as a cav james was better, as a heat until he shows me otherwise, as am overall "player" durant is better.
