There's really nothing to be ashamed with how he's behaving, true hard dying fans tends to get hype over certain things and his reaction is always on point so I find his expression to be natural especially when given thoughts about how Stupid Sakura was in this episode or he over exaggerating thinking Madara too op is unstoppable which it blends well with how he's reacting.

It gives him the amount of excitement and feels because he was never spoiled plus he invested so much for the series it became his favorite series of all time

I watched him recently. He got spoiled once by accidentally looking at an ad for Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 with Sasuke with Rinnegan before it got revealed in the anime...
I guess that's one of the many disadvantages of being an anime only watcher.
