Best Naruto Characters

These are the best characters imo. The list is in order and included characters may not be appreciated here but for some reason, people can relate to them.

1) Itachi: Psychopath at the beginning and affectionate brother at the end. Itachi is by far the most complex character I have encountered in a manga and even though I am not a fan of Itachi, I see him as one of the best manga characters of all time which is the reason he has so many fans(Fanboys also Lol)

2) Hagoromo: Though a flawed character, he was not corrupted by power like his mother. Hagoromo's path as a saviour was his own choice and he could have aimed for immortality and absolute power but he refused. He acknowledged Ashura's ideals and rejected Indra's selfishness. He was a father to the tailed beasts and gave them names, acknowledging their existences. He tried to unite humanity but his ninshu was turned into ninjutsu.

3) Hashirama: His idea of a village and stopping bloody wars caught my attention. His backstory in the manga was interesting. The village he envisioned might not be perfect but it certainly has done more good than bad if you consider the era of the warring states where people's life expectancy was very low.

4) Kakashi Hatake: He had a lot of reasons to take the dark path but he endured rather than surrender. He lost his parents, lost his friend and killed the one he was asked to protect.

You got it all wrong. Madara is by far the best and most interesting character of the series. Zero contest.

If my list was longer, I would have included Gai and Madara. Naruto and Obito have disappointed me by the end of the manga. They were my favourite characters but I didn't like the way Kishimoto gave a closure to those characters.

I agree about the naruto and obito part naruto was like the best character till war arc then kishi ruined him.

For me he's got completely ruined the moment he's said that Obito is the coolest guy. I literally couldn't believe my eyes. I guess at that moment I've realized how wrong my perception of him was. U_U

Yeah but that wasnt the only bad thing about that i couldnt care less but after pain arc he was so forgiving.I liked the naruto where he wanted revenge.It made him look more real no matter how good you are some things never change but that later changed on when he could forgive anyone.Thats how kishi ruined him for me.

The fact a character is good hearted doesnt make it a good character, i wouldnt consider any of the character you listed as the better written but they are not the worst either though i'll admit i was desapointed by hashi and hagoromo and their lack of character development.

The best characters in my opinion are kabuto, obito, sasuke, shikamuru, kakashi and a few others but i consider these as the best characters.

Well, yeah, I suppose you could say it all started at the end of Pain arc. I didn't pay much attention at that time, though, don't remember why, exactly Lol So you're correct here.

 

[Transcendence]

Itachi, Nagato, Sasuke, Orochimaru, Sasori, Kakashi and Jiraiya all come to mind. In your list, Hagoromo and Hashirama are completely out of place. Hagoromo is generic and Hashirama follows a common trope. Nothing groundbreaking about them at all.
