[Discussion] Best HxH arc?

YorkNew City or Chimera Ant? Personally, I'd go with YorkNew City arc because it was a lot more enjoyable & better quality wise. The Chimera Ant arc was awesome but it had some flaws that kinda bother me, i.e. royal guards dying felt like an asspull & Leorio/Kurapika were pretty much sidelined.

Dark Continent will be the best HxH arc once it's done though.

Chimera Ant was pretty good too.

So was Greed Island, don't understand why people don't like that one.

Greed island just started out a bit slow & all those cards concept was just boring to me since I knew it's only relevant to one arc. I love the dodgeball match & Razor was a badass. I hope we somehow see him again. The arc is pretty underrated though, it's up there with Heavens Arena arc.

yeah dude , i didn't liked that ending of chimera ant as well , but it made sense as well , but it was lack luster , u know?

but idk which arc is the best :c

i think that it was the first two , the hxh exams and where they started to learn Nen , alongside with that mini-arc of the taking back killua , bc well... it was pretty well constructed , but the fights man... i think something missed , i didn't liked that fight of hisoka vs gon and things like that... idk :c.

Yorknew. The Phantom Troupe members are all my bbys. I'm thinking about cosplaying Machi and Shizuku. Shizuku could be a closet cosplay. XD

Yorknew, seeing the Troupe whoop ass was just sooo satisfying, that entire arc felt like a movie, I was on the edge of my seats constantly. Chimera was pretty good as well but I have a feeling the Dark Continent Arc will be the best one yet.

Agreed, I want them to appear in the dark continent arc already.

I liked Chimera Ant better. Meruem's development was just beautiful.


Yorkshin was good, but to me it felt rather incomplete since Kurapika only took out 2 spiders.

Same but I wouldn't mind if the Dark Continent just focuses on the princes, the Zodiac's, and beyond. The Troupe had their times to shine in both Yorknew, Chimera, and a little of Greed Island. I REALLY want to see what the zodiacs can do, specifically Ging, Pariston, Botobai, and Saiyuu.

I haven't reached that part yet, but i'm positive CA arc will become my favorite when i get there.
But YNC arc will certainly come right after.

Chimera Ant Arc. I mean, the build up to the infiltration on that day was awesome. And when the final fights begin, it was great too.

I don't think it was an asspull at all. An asspull would have been if Killua beat a Royal Guard 1-on-1 or Knuckle/Shoot beat one. The Royal guards were in a different league altogether. It was the only way they could've died. I was surprised though Pitou was completely overwhelmed by Gon's power. But Gon paid a heavy price for it.

Chimera Ant Arc > Yorknew Arc > Election Arc (didn't finish yet) > Greed Island Arc > Heavens Arena Arc > Hunter Exams Arc > Zoldyck Arc.

Anyways, im sure that once Dark Continent ends it'll be the best arc we've seen yet. Imo it has the potential to surpass Toriko's cooking festival arc and OP's Marineford arc.

Though the fact that Togashi is heavily focusing on Ging in this arc has got me worried...what if Ging dies? Lel

And we also need the Phantom Troupe to get to DC U_U
