Best first episode?

A lot of people say you need to watch an anime for about 5 episodes before you decide to go through with it or not, but I've seen quite a few series that managed to hook me from the very beginning. Which first episode would you say left you with the best impression on what you were about to watch?

For me, it was Eden of the East. Not much real action to speak of, but it was still very fast-paced and extremely hilarious, not to mention it left me with a lot of questions about what was to follow.

Yeah ........whenever I'm not sure about an anime , I give it 3-5 episodes .

But animes like AoT, Psycho Pass , Another , Tokyo Ghoul , Chrome Shelled Regios , Ergo Proxy & some others hooked me in the first episode .

If I had to narrow it down It'd be Attack on Titan, Sword Art Online, Death Note and Mirai Nikki.

I watched the first episode of Record of Lodoss War when I was in 7th grade. It was amazing and I've been an ardent fan ever since.

deathnote and code geass have some pretty great first episodes. Naruto had me hooked from the start as well. Bleach first episode was what sold me on the whole series because until soul society it is pretty dull. Thanks to the awesomeness of the first episode I decided to stick with it.
