Only manga I found was a very short one about some dude in a hospital who met some other dude and they became friends and then fell in love and then one died and the other, I think, became a doctor. Nice little story. I'll have to find it again one day.

Full Metal Alchemist. First got into it back when One Manga was up, which was like, damn, like 7, almost 8 years ago?
Tower of God was also something I found on my own that turned out to be really good.

Found it. It's called Birthday. Here is the description:
