When they actually make a real life Superman.. with the right emotions, thats hes shown to face in the cartoons and comics...

Yeah, yeah eventually there's some writer out there that thinks it would be great if Batman or Superman killed (almost all retcon'd or non cannon) but one of the defining characteristics is the refusal to kill. It's harder to subdue rather than kill.

It depends how you view it. I loved MOS. It wasn't a Superman movie. It was a Clark Kent/Kal-el movie where he was lost and finding himself. I believe the events in MOS will shape up the Superman we all know and love.

Seriously? Johnathan Kent dies trying to save a dog then Clark does..... Nothing because his Dad was afraid someone might find out about Clark being from another world? Weeeeaakkk.

I really don't have much faith in this movie since it was announced that batman will be in it & even worst that bale wont be batman anymore (the best batman ever ) ......I like Affleck , but him as a superhero ? Daredevil wasn't good , but like someone said above I will also pray to the fictional god that this movie turns out good , i dont care for DC or superman , since I'm a marvel fan , but Batman is my favorite superhero , I don't want what Nola saved to be shit on again . :/

And okay, okay… we get it… Not a lot of people are excited about Ben Affleck being Batman. Many people reacted pretty negatively at the casting announcement last night – knee jerk reactions followed with over 96,000 tweets sent out by the first hour after the casting announcement and about 71 percent of that talk was negative. This according to an article posted on HEAT VISION just now. In the article they quote the social media analytics firm Fizziology for the Twitter report.
But that’s not all the article had to say.

Batman fans who were taken aback by the decision have also, inevitably, launched a curt Change.org petition that urges Warner Bros. to “Remove Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne in the Superman/Batman movie.” That petition has gathered more than 7,000 signatures since it was started.
Ridiculous is the word that comes to mind. Absolute ridiculousness. I know because I was one of the millions that reacted, at first, negatively to the news. Now, to be fair – it was because I was clouded by dark side thoughts… I worried the casting was done as a stunt and that stunt would take away from the world of Superman that was set up in Man of Steel. I was really hoping Man of Steel 2 would elaborate on the themes and mythology introduced in the original. And I wanted to see that – I wanted more SUPERMAN. So when the news of Affleck was announced, I knee jerked with the rest of the world, not really because of the guy, more because of me trying to surmise what a Superman movie would be like when you introduce the iconic character of Batman to the world. More so, Ben Affleck being as A-List as they get – I was concerned his status as MEGA STAR would eclipse the story of Man of Steel 2 and give more weight to Batman (who is by far, Warner Bros BIGGEST money maker.)
And you see, I think they should have waited for maybe the third movie of the (Supes trilogy?) to introduce him. Still going off gut reactions here, the casting of Affleck as The Bat seems more about setting up Justice League rather than setting up Man of Steel 2. I feel like they skipped a step here and for that, I am VERY CONCERNED the sequel will suffer.
