I've been there and back
Only to get lost once again
But you can't fade me into black
This is war now let us begin
Fight until the end
Don't just sit there and pretend
Am I enemy or am I a friend
What is it on that you fight to depend
You don't know the truth of it
Or you know and live denial
You can deny it but you'll never fight it
Because you simply don't have my style
Fight or fade till the end

I am neither your enemy nor friend
It's your selfishness you can't defend
You haven't been there and back
And you've never once been lost
What did you do before you faded to black
You did nothing at all at any cost..
Essentially what I'm saying here is... get off your asses and do something. Make your life worth living. Don't sit on your ass as life passes you by. You don't have to go all out, become some big hot shot, and be successful. Some of the biggest failures in history are remembered as the biggest triumphs. They served their purposes. Even the flawed attempts at least mean you tried, versus living a quiet life in denial of the very gift you're given each day, but do nothing with.
