Because of what did you start watching Naruto?

I started reading Naruto the manga first after seeing a page on the interwebz, I followed the manga for a long time then suddenly i found out that it was an anime too and it was just 40 episodes at that time tho.

Cartoon Network started showing it cutting out DBZ and first I was furious but started watching it since I had nothing to do in the time slot it aired and after couple of weeks was kinda hooked

I never did watched it on Cartoon Network. When I started watching Cartoon Network, Naruto was already removed from it.

It was around 2008-09 I think,don't remember tho.We had Indian Cartoon network feed(which totally sucked btw due to friggin ads :/ only thing good about it was dbz ) and also Naruto was removed from Indian feed much later than US feed afaik

@others: When I finished with the anime someone told me about Shippuuden. Funny I didn't believe him back then until
I saw one of the episodes. But Manga is simply better than the Anime, no doubts.

i used to watch Bleach , he said naruto is better, i liked the show right from episode 1. but the filler ruined it for me
so i stick to manga now

initially i just watched it many years ago in cartoon network...but was never interested in it. I only remembered certain things like naruto was in a team with his rival sasuke and his crush sakura and a cool guy named kakashi. Naruto had a nine tailed fox sealed inside him. And i knew that there was one white eyed girl who admired him. just a year back, i started getting interested NOT in the series but in that pairing of naruto with that white eyed girl whose name i found out to be hinata. Used to read a lot of fanfics centering around that pairing and eventually got involved with the main storyline.......

Back whenever it was on in Cartoon Network. . I watched the show just to make fun of it and pass time till DragonBall Z came on after or near it. But by the time they got to the forest of death, I was hooked on it.

my friend passed his portable hdd to me nd it had full naruto series + some of naruto shippuden episodes (around 50-60 episodes) so because i dnt had time to see whats actually in their ,i copied things i thaught interesting after giving hdd back i saw some episodes nd there u have it xD
