I watched it when it aired in TV. At that time there were no episodes of it on youtube. So I had to watch it all day in TV.
But when they were uploaded I watched the whole Season and then started with the Manga. I read till the chapter where Sasuke fights Deidara. The Manga was just at that chapter. And since then I read the Manga every week

Heh, when I started watching Naruto, the anime was at that point.

I myself at first thought Naruto was stupid, but then I came across Hidan and Kakuzu and thought ''Hey these guys look pretty cool''. I checked some things about them and saw the rest of Akatsuki and then I started watching it.

my brother bought 2 dvds of naruto volume 1 and 2..my little siblings was watching the show and I used to pass behind them everyday and just look two or three scenes on a whim.slowly and slowly I used like the gara action.from that day the curse of love began for naruto.
btw my siblings did not even know about manga and say tobi is madara and I always smile.

i watched it for a while in part 1 during the chuunin exams, then i got hooked, and then it took a break on tv, and i didnt know where to watch it, then i found the shippuden manga online and got hooked all over again.

Cartoon Network started showing it cutting out DBZ and first I was furious but started watching it since I had nothing to do in the time slot it aired and after couple of weeks was kinda hooked
