I know right u_u Obito was the perfect place to stop but it still confuses me so much. If time was the issue, why not just have the big powerhouse Madara have his turn as FV first and then the psychological villain who caused all the relevant problems for later?

Na that was more of an insane side, not human. She wanted to kill her sons because they had her chakra, which she birthed to them lol. Crying while killing them isnt much of a sob story.

You can look at it that way but the fact this ninja way was conceived so early on and the fact that villains can and have been defeated without TNJ seems to imply otherwise.
