(Woah numbers is acknowledging and not denying the final arc for once! woooooo)
Kaguya's character has doomed the end of the series
Naruto Uzumaki since day 1 has always been about making friends out of enemies and unifying the ninja world....but, do you honestly think he'll do that to Kaguya? Because all he's doing right now is punching her.
Madara and Kaguya seem to be the only two villains who refuse to fall to TNJ. Maddy met his own strange end and is yet to be seen (if at all)- but there isn't even enough time for Naruto to try TNJ Kaguya or convert her because hell, he hasn't even tried to understand her or talk to her once.
Since she arrived they have just been fighting and desperately trying to seal her away when I know what the real Naruto would do is not only understand Hagorhomo but also Kaguya. Hell if he can get the goddamn evil 9 tails on his side and psychopaths and lost souls like Nagato and Obito then he sure as hell can deal with this alien family drama.
That said though, if Sasuke and Naruto just defeat Kaguya then....the series is going to end on a bad note. This entire philosophy behind our protagonist will be shattered right at the last hurdle.....I like to think this wont be how it ends but can you really see enough panel time for Naruto to:
1.)consider actually speaking to her
2.) getting a backstory
3.)naruto speaks to her
4.) somehow convinces her to rethink her life.
And that's not even considering if it's done WELL. It took Obito like 2 years (irl) and Kurama 17 years to do so fgs. There simply isn't enough time for him to do it. And if he doesn't....the manga has an even crapper ending than I imagined heading it's way.
But yeah I have no genuine idea how the hell they're dealing with Kaguya without either derailing Naruto's entire character or having a rushed awful ending where Kaguya immediately does a 180 in personality.
